Apparently my bike does not have a rear wheel quick release, so I’m either gonna have to get it converted at a bike shop so it can be used on an indoor trainer or look into inexpensive ellipticals.
Okay, this one doesn’t really count:
I’m thinking of buying an indoor bike trainer for the hotter-than-hell Austin, Texas summers.
I can’t afford a CycleOps, but it looks like there are lower cost alternatives on Amazon. I’ve never used one before, so I have no idea what to expect. It’s got to be better than sitting in my Lazy Boy, though, right?
No more blogging until I have successfully lost weight two weeks in a row!
Could it be? Could I finally be tiring of junk food?
I think the answer may be yes.
Weigh-In Weekend: Okay, not the most impressive number. It’s 35 lbs more than what I weighed last summer and 5 lbs more than what I weighed in January.
But it’s also 9 lbs LESS than what I weighed last weekend and that’s what’s important right now.
229 lbs: birthday blowout with booze and food.
199 lbs: new wardrobe
185 lbs: cooler new wardrobe
Today, I’m still 30+ lbs. heavier than I was last summer.
But, I’m significantly lighter than I was this time last week and 3.5 lbs. under today’s target weight.
Also, as I wrote previously, I think I’ve got a hold of my eating, at least for now.
Mistake: mentioning to my co-workers that I engage in any form of fasting. They seem to believe a person with 35% body fat would get fatter by not eating for periods of time. It makes no sense.
P.S.: I was planning a work happy hour indulgence of fried cookie dough and ice cream tonight, bit I feel so good off sugar that I’m gonna have beer and chili instead.
